Haydn Harvey, originally from the UK, embarked on a remarkable journey that took him from his homeland to the bustling streets of New York City. Over the course of a number of years working closely with Red Oyster USA, he found himself immersed in this captivating world, evolving into a highly respected shucker whose expertise brought smiles wherever he went.
In the vibrant culinary landscape of New York, Haydn discovered the magic of Oystertainment® – an art that captivated his senses and sparked a passion within him. With dedication and skill, he honed his craft, becoming renowned for his ability to shuck oysters with precision and flair.
As he travelled through the US from NYC, Boston, Virginia, North Caroline, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Haydn shared his love for oysters, leaving a trail of delighted guests in his wake. His journey was more than just about shucking oysters; it was about spreading joy and appreciation for the ocean’s bounty.
Driven by a desire to share his passion with his homeland, Haydn made the bold decision to expand the company overseas. Now, back in England, he is poised to continue the legacy of the 25-year-old company, bringing the tradition of exceptional oysters to new shores. His business partner Paul is taking care of the back office making bespoke quotations and giving advice about the oysters.
