Bloody Mary Oyster Shooters

This classic makes a great canapé or starter. If you can’t wait for company to enjoy one, we’ll completely understand if you want to whip some up for your afternoon snack.

Ingredients for 6 shooters:

  • 6 oysters
  • 1 ⅓ cup of tomato juice
  • 2 tablespoons of vodka
  • 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Tabasco sauce
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Preparation:

Take 6 20ml (0.7 oz) glasses. We use our prettiest, because this recipe deserves them. Pour the vodka into the glass, and add a few drops of Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce, to taste. Fill rest of the glass with tomato juice, and add a squeeze/a few drops of lemon juice. Stir.

Shuck the oysters, and drain the liquid into a bowl. Set it aside. Cut the oysters free of their shells. Carefully place an oyster in each glass, and add a little bit of the oyster juice. Garnish with freshly ground black pepper, and enjoy.
